I know I'm overdue for a proper blog post, which will hopefully be forthcoming this week. It's been a busy month. But things are slowly getting back to normal here.

All true. One of the main lessons I learned, when I joined the Libertarian Party many years back and heard all sorts of economics geeks spouting off, was that paper money - specifically, the ability to print or destroy it, at will - was anathema to any meaningful self-repair of an economy.

Suldog - Yes, I am kind of scared as to what the future holds. I do think China must have some confidence in our economy, though, or they wouldn't be buying all of our treasury bills!

Thimbelle - Yes, amusing yet informative, but kind of scary.
